about

A lifelong fascination with objects — finding and photographing them — is at the heart of Holly Stewart’s work. Her food photography and still life images reveal the simple, yet extraordinary truths in the objects of the everyday world. Since opening Holly Stewart Photography, Inc. in 1991, Holly has collaborated on both editorial and commercial projects, including print and film advertising for such ad campaigns as Nike, Got Milk?, E-bay, Elizabeth Arden, Gordon Biersch Beer, Sprint, Sony and Bank of America.

Holly Stewart’s studio and location photography for a variety of magazines includes Esquire, Metropolitan Home, Coastal Living and Appellation magazine. In addition to her product photography, Holly has built a diverse body of portraiture work ranging from corporate portraits to lifestyles campaigns.

Recently Holly worked on the Campaign to Restore the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. Holly photographed beautiful and unusual plants for both print and film for the new Conservatory note cards and advertising campaign. Holly’s work has drawn local and national attention and awards, including recognition in CA Magazine, Graphis, Communication Arts magazine, The San Francisco Show, AR100 and The Addy Award, the International Photography Awards Show and Black & White Spider Awards.
